Internal Sales/Admin Role

Position:

Here at Commercial Drivers Personnel are looking to increase our office team to include a sales/customer service assistant initially on a part time basis with the potential to go full time at a later date. This is a great opportunity to join us at a time of growth with many new opportunities on the horizon, and the position would suit either someone experienced or non experienced in our particular markets.

Your main duties would include but not limited too:

Generating sales leads
Meeting with existing and new clients
Office admin
managing social media sites
Identifying business opportunities in new and existing markets
Attending networking events and trade fairs
Dealing with complaints

The Person:

You will be comfortable in dealing with customers and candidates. Be self motivated and willing to learn. Experience of working within a HR, Recruitment or logistics background would be an advantage but not necessary. Great telephone manner and willing to take on a challenge.

The Package:

Initially starting as a part time role but with the potential to go full time. Pay rates will depend on experience and success within the role. Full training on our products, services and booking systems. Weekly pay, 28 days holiday per year pro rata and NEST pensions scheme for eligible staff.

Class 1 Drivers

Position:

We are looking for Class 1 drivers for bank AD-Hoc work in and around the Bury St Edmunds area over the next three months.

We would ideally expect you to have a minimum of one year relevant driving experience, but if you are recently passed and looking to gain experience then we may be able to help.

The work is mainly palletised deliveries, trunk runs to hubs and long distance work.

What you need:

Current CPC card
Class 1 (C+E) entitlement on your GB Licence
Digi Tacho card
HI VIS
Steel toe cap boots

What we offer:

Weekly PAYE
Minimum hourly rate of £10.50p/h
Overtime at time and a half

Happy to interact with self employed drivers

Van Drivers

Position:

We are looking for part time van drivers for various days in peak periods.

We are looking for people who know the local area well and have a good geographical knowledge of East Anglia.

Ideally you will live in a 10-15 mile radius of Bury St Edmunds.

What you need:

We need you to have a full cat B licence and experience in driving commercial vehicles.

What we offer:

Pay rates vary from £7.00-£11.00p/h

Temp Drivers Mates/Yard and Warehouse Operatives

Duties:

Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders.
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
Maintains quality service by following organisation standards.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
